Coral Gables Homes

The City of Coral Gables is located southwest of Downtown Miami and is an example of a luxurious and charming living. The house market is extremely diverse, from luxurious waterfront mansions to attractive condos and townhouses. Influenced by the Garden City and City Beautiful movements of the 19th and 20th century, Coral Gables, planned by George Merrick, became one of the nation’s first fully-planned communities at its completion of 1925. Coral Gables hosts many historic buildings and landmarks, such as The Biltmore Hotel and the Venetian Pool, which was first opened as a casino.

The City of Coral Gables comes complete with its own financial hub, which headquarters many international corporations, and downtown area. Downtown Coral Gables is home to a variety of retail stores and good eats. The well-known Miracle Mile stretches throughout its downtown area, and its streets lined with lit-up trees are bustling from morning to night. Many events take place here year-round, such as Restaurant Week or Halloween on the Mile, which hosts costume contests, photo booths, among other family-friendly events.

Today, Coral Gables is known as a culturally rich and affluent neighborhood. Coral Gables functions as an independent city within Miami and has its own corresponding police and government. A perfect fit for many families, Coral Gables offers residents a peaceful lifestyle with a premium shopping, some of Miami’s best restaurants, and family activities such as the Fairchild Topical Botanic Garden and Lowe Art Museum. Many of great schools reside in the area, including the University of Miami. Its close proximity to Downtown Miami allows for residents to enjoy the fun nightlife available in Miami if they so choose.
