Sunny Isles Beach is a city in northeast Miami Dade county that borders the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway. When an investor purchased the 2 mile stretch of land in the 1920’s, he has envisioned making the property into a large tourist resort. Present day, Sunny Isles Beach boasts many of Miami Dade’s most exquisite residents in some of the most prestigious buildings in the area.
Sunny Isles is known for its stretch of oceanfront condos, both on the oceanside and on the intercoastal. There are many parks in Sunny Isles beach, each offering a different draw for residents and tourists. Beyond the stunning oceanfront tides, you have the Newport Fishing Pier and park where people can fish, walk the boardwalk for wonderful photos of Sunny Isles Beach and all the way down south to South Beach, and a restaurant. There is also Belle Vista Bay Park, which allows docking for small boats, and Gateway Park which offers a butterfly garden, water play area for children, and a performance stage.
